Patrick Oborn

Co-Founder, Telarus, Inc.  Sandy, UT

Patrick is the co-Founder of Telarus, a national distributor of telecom voice, data, and managed services.  Frustrated with the enormous amount of work required to provide a client a telecom service quote – which drastically cut into his surfing time with his partner Adam Edwards, he developed and patented the internet’s first real-time carrier services pricing engine which dramatically sped up the time it takes to research and source commercial telecom services.  Since then he has gone on to develop addition telecom research tools for his partner community, including an interactive fiber-lit building map and data center location tool.

He is also the lead pre-sales engineer (CCNA) for Telarus, helping partners working on complicated, multi-carrier opportunities build innovative wide area networks and cloud solutions.  He is also a blogger and frequent speaker on the Technology Innovation Conference circuit, with a specialty in helping MSPs establish profitable telecom practices.
